The police have booked six suspects, including a woman, for allegedly extorting money from a citizen after threatening to implicate him in a case. According to the police, Ali Raza, a resident of Mehmood Colony, complained to the Jaranwala city police that the suspect Saba Bilqis had honey trapped him to extort Rs150,000 from him with the help of her accomplices, including Muhammad Amin, in a lawyer's chamber. The complainant said he supplies water to homes and shops. He stated that Amin had called him, saying he was speaking from the police station and the woman had filed a complaint against him. The suspect advised the complainant that it would be better if the victim settled the matter with the woman by going to a lawyer's chamber. When the victim arrived, the lawyer and other suspects present there blackmailed him, demanding Rs200,000 from him. They eventually forced him to pay Rs150,000.
