Girl attempts suicide

A teenage girl, disheartened by a domestic dispute consumed wheat-preserving tablets in an attempt to commit suicide and was admitted to a hospital. According to sources, Mehak, the 17-year-old daughter of Sajjad, a resident of Chak No. 39 GB, swallowed wheat-preserving tablets after being upset over a domestic quarrel. She was rushed to Allied Hospital, where her condition is reported to be critical. Doctors said they were making efforts to save her.
