Two killed, five injured in rainstorm

Walls and roofs of several building collapsed due to a rainstorm in Lodhran. A young man died due to electrocution and an elderly man was killed, while five others, including a child, were injured due to wall and roof collapse incidents. According to local residents, 70-year-old Manzoor Ahmed, a resident of the Lal Shah area, was returning home from his stall when a brick wall fell on him while passing through a street. The elderly sweets seller was buried under the debris and died on the spot due to a head injury. Meanwhile, Mohammad Shoaib, a resident of Gulabpura, was repairing a cable at home after the rain when he got electrocuted and died on the spot. A four-year-old boy, Muhammad Imran, was severely injured when the kitchen roof of his home collapsed. Four people were injured when an oven built on the roof of a house at Pakka Pipliwala Chowk collapsed.
